iOS28Beta.com is an independent informational site about iOS 28. Our approach to privacy is simple: we collect as close to nothing as a website can. This page explains exactly what that means.
What we collect
We do not collect personal information. This site has no user accounts, no comment system, no email list, and no contact forms. Reading our pages does not require you to tell us anything about yourself, and we have no database of visitors.
Hosting and server logs
This site is served by Cloudflare. Like virtually all web infrastructure, Cloudflare processes technical data about requests — such as IP addresses and browser user-agent strings — to deliver pages, prevent abuse, and maintain security. This processing happens at the infrastructure level; we do not use it to identify individual visitors. Cloudflare's own practices are described in the Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
Cookies
This site does not set cookies. There is no tracking pixel, no fingerprinting, and no cross-site identifier of any kind. That's also why you don't see a cookie banner here — there's nothing to consent to.
Push notifications
If you choose to turn on beta alerts, your browser generates an anonymous subscription — a URL issued by your browser vendor's push service, which lets us deliver a message to that browser. It contains no email address, name, account, or identifier we could tie to you. Alongside it we store only the topics you selected and the date you subscribed.
We use that record for one thing: sending the release notifications you asked for. It is never shared or sold. Tapping Turn off on the notifications page deletes it from our storage immediately, and revoking notification permission in your browser has the same practical effect. Expired subscriptions are removed automatically. Notification delivery itself is handled by your browser vendor's push service (Apple, Google, Mozilla or Microsoft), under their own privacy terms.
Analytics
We may use privacy-preserving, aggregate analytics (such as Cloudflare Web Analytics) to understand things like which pages are read most and roughly how many people visit. This class of analytics works without cookies and without tracking individuals — we see totals and trends, never a profile of you. If we ever adopt an analytics tool that requires consent, we will update this policy and ask first.
Advertising
This site currently shows no advertising. If we introduce ads in the future (for example, through Google AdSense), this policy will be updated beforehand, and — where required by law — you will be asked for consent through a proper consent-management dialog before any advertising cookies are set. Any such change will be noted here with a new effective date.
External links
Our guides link to external sites — most often Apple's official pages such as developer.apple.com and beta.apple.com. Those sites have their own privacy practices, which we don't control. We never link to third-party firmware downloads.
Children
This site is a general-audience technology publication. We do not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children.
Changes to this policy
If our practices change — for example, when analytics or advertising are introduced — we will update this page and change the effective date at the top. Substantive changes will also be noted in the text, consistent with the corrections policy we apply across the site.
