On iPhone or iPad: add to your Home Screen first

Apple only allows notifications for sites saved to the Home Screen (iOS 16.4 or later). It takes fifteen seconds and there's no App Store download.

  1. Open ios28beta.com in Safari.
  2. Tap the Share button — the square with an arrow pointing up.
  3. Tap Add to Home Screen, then Add.
  4. Open iOS 28 Beta from your Home Screen and come back to this page.
FAQ

Questions about alerts

Do I need to give an email address?

No. There's no email, no name, no account. Your browser creates an anonymous subscription we can send a message to — that's the entire record, and one tap deletes it. Details in our privacy policy.

Why does my iPhone need the Home Screen step?

It's Apple's rule. Since iOS 16.4, Safari only permits web notifications for sites saved to the Home Screen. Android and desktop browsers don't require it.

How often will you send notifications?

A handful of times a year — the developer beta, each new beta build, the final release. Use the checkboxes above to narrow that down further.

How do I turn them off?

Come back here and tap Turn off. It removes your subscription immediately.
